The Person You Must Become

Our limitations and success will be based, most often, on your own expectations for ourselves. What the mind dwells upon, the body acts upon…Denis Waitley
What do you expect; in life, work, relationships, health etc.?
At this I Create Wisdom link you will find two wonderful movies and a very effective daily meditation.
Do something for your body and mind today.
Unless we have daily practices in place (such as a meditation, yoga, walk, deep breathing, social contact, reading, listening to empowering audios etc.), we may find that our body and mind reserves gradually deplete as we get busy with our daily “doing”. What could you regularly schedule for yourself to raise your energy?
From Lynn Andrews’ book for writers, called Writing Spirit: “You store power in your body… If you ignore the signals your body sends to you, you will begin to dissipate your power and begin to destroy your body through stress, because you are not paying attention to who you really are.”
She also says, “We let go of that power when we don’t love our bodies and stop trusting them. Your body has saved you through its instinct many times, for example when you leaped out of the way of an oncoming car that you didn’t even know was there. As you spend more and more time being conscious about the way you move, you begin to find your own authenticity, your own truth. For example, perhaps you find that you are walking hunched over, and as you continue the movement of walking, you realize that you have closed your heart chakra, the ability to love and express emotion. Maybe you find yourself trying to walk in a position that eases your back, and you realize perhaps that in life you are backing away from your power. Or perhaps your knees are sore because you have trouble moving forward in life. You begin to find what is authentic for you and make the changes you need to make.”
