Coaching Tip #202
September 30th, 2006
Spend all your time and energy focusing on what you want.
In a safe driving course in which I participated, I was taught to observe the horizon when wanting to avoid hitting a target. If I looked at the bumber bar of the car that I did not want to hit then I’d be certain to hit it. Looking beyond the target would allow for my peripheral vision to take care of the situation. Similarly when aiming for specific goals, look beyond your goal at an expanded vision and provide your sub-conscious some room to manouvre.
