When you’re in your 90′s and looking back, it’s not going to be how much money you made or how many awards you’ve won. It’s really ‘What did you stand for? Did you make a positive difference for people?’…Elizabeth Dole

For just a moment now, go back to 1 January 2005 (any year, in fact). Now move forward one month – did you say to yourself “Wow, that was a great goal! Why in the world did I lose interest?”
Last month, I started using Accountability Buddy and it is brilliant. As well as automating your goal support in the most simple and yet powerful way, there’s also the personal element of inviting friends to be a team buddy. They are updated with your progress automatically, only if they accept. How cool! I’ve seen a lot of tools and been through many programs – this one I particularly love because I’m a very busy person and it fits right in, without the slightest annoyance, while keeping me incredibly on track and highly accountable. Kick-start your 2007 and please do invite me as your team buddy for your first goal – my email is at my Forward Steps website.
Successful people aren’t supermen and women. They fail, but fail forward. Success is not about perfection, it’s about progression….Simon Reynolds, advertising wiz.

Here’s a cute page for all you parents out there!

TimeToMeet aims to help two or more people arrange a meeting with a minimum of fuss. Here’s how it works: You create a new meeting, “paint” your available times into a calendar, then send the invitation to others. (Alas, you can’t import e-mail addresses for easier inviting.) Recipients click the embedded link (they don’t even have to register) and paint their own times into the calendar. TimeToMeet finds the overlaps and lets you confirm a final time. Registration is free; a paid account entitles you to Google/iCal/Outlook calendar synchronization and a TimeToMeet “secretary” (a personal URL others can use to schedule appointments with you). I have to say, this is one of the slicker, easier meeting schedulers I’ve tried. Found a better one?
