Coaching Tip #309

February 28th, 2007 No comments

Change the box, redraw the lines.

Pretend you have just ‘dropped out of the sky’, into this time in your life. Look at it with brand new eyes and thoughts. From the outside, looking in, what do you see? Where would you make the changes and adjustments. What would you include or exclude? What path could you now follow?

Abundance Cheques

February 28th, 2007 No comments

Abundance cheques are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives. They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon.

Surprisingly, you really don´t even need to believe that the cheque will work when you write it. You will however be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.

There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do not have a cheque account you can draw a cheque on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way – the results will be the same, more abundance for you.

Belief, sincerity and flexibility

February 28th, 2007 No comments

Whether or not something is inherent in your belief systems, you may be in a phase whereby you choose to adopt a new belief, but you find yourself experiencing some inner conflict. The reason for this is because we naturally go through a phase, of rejection, of new beliefs, especially if they are replacing old redundant one that has been heavily ingrained within our being. During this time it’s easy to feel like you’re artificially speaking or doing the new belief. You might feel like there’s a lack of sincerity when telling people about this new belief. This is because we may have yet to see any results of our new belief systems. Once the result has been seen, even if only in tiny proportions, those beliefs will end the phase of becoming ingrained. The sincerity will come through the results.
One thing you must have, with regards to your beliefs, is flexibility. If you become obsessed with any one particular belief system, it is likely that and transition phase will be that much harder and “bruise” your ego. Hard and fast beliefs serve you in no way other than to limit your vision of the world. So, just as an experiment, make them flexible, but choose with sincerity and see what changes you find in your life from those new added dimensions.

Coaching Tip #308

February 27th, 2007 No comments

Spend some time alone every day.

Spending time with yourself, not engaged in activity or with others, is a very nurturing thing to do. You do deserve it and it is very restful. Give yourself the gift of those few moments to dream, take a breath, notice the calm. Feel the gratitude of the wonderful things and people in your life.

Greatest Happiness

February 27th, 2007 No comments

Happiness signifies a gratified state of all the faculties. The gratification of a faculty is produced by its exercise. To be agreeable that exercise must be proportionate to the power of the faculty; if it is insufficient discontent arises, and its excess produces weariness. Hence, to have complete felicity is to have all the faculties exerted in the ratio of their several developments; and an ideal arrangement of circumstances calculated to secure this constitutes the standard of “greatest happiness;” but the minds of no two individuals contain the same combination of elements. Duplicate men are not to be found. There is in each a different balance of desires. Therefore the conditions adapted for the highest enjoyment of one, would not perfectly compass the same end for any other. And consequently the notion of happiness must vary with the disposition and character; that is, must vary indefinitely.

Increase your power by feeling dynamic rather than fine.

If you have watched ‘The Secret’ or studied Law of Attraction for many years, you’ll know how important emotions are to the process of manifesting what you want in your life. Always be conscious of your feelings and find ways to heighten the positive ones.

Spicypage

February 26th, 2007 No comments

Started as a simple idea, a frustration rather about the inability to post newly launched websites, the concept of Spicypage was born. A concept of perceiving the web through the eyes of the user where the ranking of the sites occurs through user votes.
Sure there are ranking sites out there such as Alexa.com, Compete.com or Ranking.com that rank sites based on daily visitors. The only question comes that what happens to newly launched sites that do not have millions of page views yet. Those sites might have superb features, but not a huge budget to promote the site’s launch, and so will not be seen in Alexa.com or Ranking.com for few years.
The concept of Spicypage is extremely simple and straight forward: we want the user to tell us what the best site/blog is out there. We want to know users’ experiences with the sites, their likes and dislikes. After all, the best site/blog might not be the one with the most visitors.
