The 12 Principles of Humanity
The concept of “The 12 Principles of Humanity” evolved after having traveled to some of the poorest countries in the world, to photograph the diverse cultures and environment. While in these countries, I noticed the lack of basic needs such as running water, electricity and a sewer system.
It deeply bothered me to witness people living in filth, sleeping in the streets, starving and inflicted with diseases that have been eradicated in the western world. We on the other hand take our daily lives for granted, have become materialistic and wasteful.
It is important that we all make a difference, by creating a more compassionate and decent human society.
Boxed Notecards (set of 12), 2006 Calendar, as well as bamboo frames prints (11×14) are available for purchase. Please contact the photographer. A percentage from the sale of the notecards and or prints will be donated to A Touch of Love Foundation (www.atouchoflove.org), a non-profit organization for whom I volunteer my photographic services.
