Your Word As Law

October 31st, 2007 No comments

Establishing your word as law is important. The mind is used to getting away with a lot of promises it never intends to keep.

You tell yourself you’ll do this and that, and then you don’t. You promise to pay your friend on Saturday and you forget, or you deliberately duck out of your obligation. It’s important to establish your word as law unto yourself and others, because that in itself becomes an affirmation of your ever-developing authority over the ego.

If you say to yourself that you will do something, do it. It’s important to establish your word as law unto yourself and others, because that in itself becomes an affirmation of your ever-developing authority over the ego. If you say to yourself that you will do something, do it.

Don’t make promises you won’t keep, and don’t make promises to others if you can’t or won’t follow through. Become immaculate. Be honorable. A life without honor is not worth having. Don’t commit if you don’t have to. If you aren’t sure you can follow through, you can always stall others, saying, “I’m not sure; call me in a week.” People are used to that.

Zen And The Art Of Ezine Maintenance

October 31st, 2007 No comments

Here is a free eBook from me, titled “Zen And The Art Of Ezine Maintenance“.
If you hang on to the link for this PDF report, you’ll automatically have the latest copy when I make any changes to the information, to update it.

If you’ve been considering starting your own ezine and just cannot think where to begin, download this free ebook. It was written for you…

Do I do all the things that I have written in this report? No, not all!

Do I know to do all these things that I have written here? Absolutely!

As in Zen, the trick is to become one with the activity, to engage in it fully, to see and appreciate all details – be it hiking in the woods, penning an essay, or tightening the chain on a motorcycle.

However, you will not find ‘all the details’ here. Just enough to get you on your way.

Enjoy the journey!

Change

October 31st, 2007 No comments

Self Improvement, lifestyle, motivational are all buzz words at the moment and there is a whole army of people expounding certain theories and courses. The unfortunate thing is that we read the contents and totally agree with all that is said , we then put the book down and get ready to do all we were told. Two days later the book is back on the book shelf with all the other self help books and there it lies until you actually read it again, or you are having a clear out and decide to throw it out because it did not work. In the meantime you have just carried on as normal and are surprised that you do not feel any different.
One of the reasons that it did not resonate with you, was because it expected you to make major changes and devote lots of time to following the advice. Once again we are too busy filling every hour with the life we so desperately want to change.Next time you read a book or hear any advice, just take a small part and concentrate on that until you see the results. Once you have done this once, you will not be able to stop yourself doing another part, eventually you will have created the change you wanted and you are on your way to the new life you were searching for.

Life Power Tip #418

October 31st, 2007 No comments

Give yourself a new perspective if your energy is low.

Imagine you are in a business of your own and things are not faring well. What are all the thoughts that you have when you say the word ‘business’. As Dr Phil would say, “How’s that working for you?” If you are not producing your desired results, could you attach some new thoughts to the word ‘business’ or give your enterprise another ‘label’, one that empowers you?

$1,500 Personal Development Commune project

October 29th, 2007 No comments

If you have any interest whatsoever in using the strength of the Internet to power your personal growth and development, then you are on the right page. On the other hand, if you just want to make a bunch of money, you are on the right page!

Ever since the launch of the Personal Development Partners website in September 2007, hundreds of people have started to realize the amazing truth in phrases such as 2 heads are better than one!

Even bloggers, writers, and website owners who have been specializing in the creation of content that teaches people how to live better lives have found wisdom, partnerships, and masterminding opportunities at Personal Development Partners.

In short, it is a community that breeds SUCCESS.

The strength of a community like Personal Development Partners is the members themselves, and it is a strength that grows exponentially as more and more people take part in the community activities. Given that fact, the more members that the community has, the better it is for every other member.

As is often the case on the Internet, however, getting great information and functionality in front of the people who can benefit the most from it is the real challenge.

It is the resolution of that conundrum that has inspired the creation of the $1,500 Personal Development Commune!

The $1,500 Personal Development Commune is a mutually beneficial partnership effort whereby hundreds or even thousands of bloggers, website owners, and newsletter publishers work together in order to grow the Personal Development Partners community into the largest group collaboration matrix ever created on the Internet!

It doesn’t matter what your “niche” is. Personal development is just that – personal. The Personal Development Partners website is a place for people to find others with similar interests, thus creating partnerships and groups that are mutually beneficial for all parties. Whatever you’re into, there will be others who are also interested in that topic, and they’ll be looking to partner up for mutual benefit:

* Personal Growth and Development
* Financial Success
* Entrepreneurship
* Relationships
* Weight Loss and Exercise
* Career Growth
* Internet Marketing
* Books and Reading
* Social Bookmarking
* Music
* Blogging
* Law of Attraction

The above list covers many different aspects of life and success, and interest in all of those topics has already been shown at PDP, and the site isn’t even 2 months old!

In order to bring together as many people as possible at PDP in the shortest amount of time, Aaron is going to call upon the power of the oldest motivating factor in the book – MONEY.

There is already a very simple and profitable affiliate program for PDP, and Aaron is going to sweeten the pot even more during the $1,500 Personal Development Commune project.

Life Power Tip #417

October 28th, 2007 1 comment

Establish your word as “Law”.

We become so used to sliding out from our promises to ourselves, and sometimes the promises we make to others. Every time we do that, we are training our mind. We are diminishing the power of our words and thoughts. Read this wonderful, and my most favorite chapter in this book by Stuart Wilde.

The Habit of Attraction

October 27th, 2007 No comments

How many of you have ever taken massive action towards a goal and found yourself in a completley different place than you planned to be?

I have. For example; I’ve started a business with specific end goal – such as abundance or making a difference. I put massive action behind this business to achieve my goal. But most often I would stop and observed where I was and notice that I’m not anywhere near where I desired to be; far off from my goal.

Why did this happen? Because I lacked the consistent focus; I didn’t use my thoughts and my feelings to guide my actions to the end goal. I had plenty of action – long hours, hard work – but I still didn’t get there.
The Habit of Attraction is the practice of combining habit creation (a consistent set of actions towards a goal or desire) and the Law of Attraction (giving your attention, energy, and focus to your desire) to manifest anything you want. When you create a “habit plan” and allow the principles of the Law of Attraction to guide your way, it makes it nearly impossible to not get exactly what you want.

The Habit of Attraction is the practice of combining habit creation (a consistent set of actions towards a goal or desire) and the Law of Attraction (giving your attention, energy, and focus to your desire) to manifest anything you want.

Renting vs. Buying

October 26th, 2007 No comments

For most people buying a home will result in their largest monthly bill (by far), and because they believe that it will bring them wealth or that they are “throwing away their money” if they rent, they often take on a much larger home debt than a prudent budget would allow. It is a real shame when people are driven to get into the housing market because of misplaced notions of imagined financial benefits. Of course, everyone’s circumstances are different, and for some (particularly those that live away from the coasts) the numbers may actually work out in favor of buying.

Don’t misunderstand me here. I am not saying that no one should buy a home, or that my example scenario is a golden standard of truth for all. Don’t take my word for it. Run the numbers for yourself, check out other articles (a small collection is listed below), and do what works for you. I highly recommend the great graphical calculator from The New York Times for comparing the financial aspects of renting and buying. Many people will consider all of the consequences — financial, emotional, etc. — and conclude that buying a home is the best decision. Just don’t trick yourself into thinking it’s a good financial decision if it’s not.

I myself intend to buy a house some day. However when that day comes, I will be buying a house because I want a nice, “permanent” place to live where I’m the boss, not because I think it will help me get me rich.
