Some niche’s are easier to promote products to, some have high paying keywords and some are easy to drive millions of visitors easy month. Below is a run down on some of the techniques used.

Advertising Banners

By far the most popular advertising method so far in 2009. A great new service called BuySellAds take care of finding you advertisers and takes care of all the process for a small 25% which is well worth it!

CPM Advertising

This method is really popular for the website’s that receive a huge amount of traffic, advertisers pay you for impressions rather than sales or clicks! Check out Adtegrity for CPM Advertising.

Affiliate Sales

Selling on commission depending on your niche can be a huge earner and is by far my biggest earner. You promote great products and then get great commissions. Affiliate networks include CJ.com and Clickbank.

Pay Per Click

By far the easiest way to earn money from you website is getting paid per click you send to website’s. With programs such as Google Adsense and Netklix it’s so easy to add their code and start earning today.

Write It Down. It Works!

May 31st, 2009 No comments

“Writing helps you to remember things. If you just think about the changes you want to make, what’re the chances that you’ll have forgotten all about it by the time your next exam, report, fitness attempt, or diet comes around? You wouldn’t try to keep your diary for the year in your head – so don’t keep other important information there too. Write it down, and you can always refer back to it to jog your memory.

Secondly, writing can seriously help your thought process. This does depend a bit on how your brain’s wired – some of us find it easier to think things through by talking about them, or by doing something with our hands. But most people do get a boost from writing: the process of putting thoughts into words helps you to get greater clarity about them.

And thirdly, the act of writing something down makes you feel more accountable – you’re more likely to do it. Many studies have shown that people who write down their goals are more likely to succeed than those who don’t. And avoiding wasting precious time, energy and money on repeating your mistakes is definitely a worthy goal to have.”

Everybody’s Free

May 31st, 2009 No comments

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked….You’re not as fat as you imagine.

Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing everyday that scares you

Sing

Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with people who are reckless with yours.

-Baz Luhrmann

Google Wave!

May 30th, 2009 No comments

Google Wave is a new model for communication and collaboration on the web, coming later this year.

A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.

A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.

Life Power Tip #502

May 28th, 2009 No comments

Let go of a need to control, and practise acceptance.

Accept that you can’t control everything, particularly with the current rate of change and new discoveries in our modern world. You will send yourself into a spin if you try to be everywhere at once, and try get a handle on everything. Get much more selective. Choose specific points of focus that are important to what you seek to accomplish in your lifetime. Get to know what you want to achieve within the scope of the life that you have been given.

Life Power Tip #501

May 17th, 2009 No comments

Plug the holes where your life energy is escaping.

If you are at all feeling overwhelmed or becoming more fatigued, then it might be time to take a look around for your energy drains. It could be the people with who you associate often, that bill you haven’t yet paid, a project you haven’t touched for a while, or a shirt button that still needs sewing. Anything incomplete that’s hanging around in your life, are potential energy drainers. Either decide to be 100% OK with the way they are and let them go, or attend to them.
