Educational and Inspirational Talks

July 29th, 2010 Comments off

The John Assaraf video is ready for us to see here…

I hope you have been finding these conversations both educational and inspirational. I’ve watched each a couple of times, I always hear something new each time I listen.

It’s just too easy to get stuck in some kind of pre-programmed expectation that we have to settle for whatever comes our way.

If you find yourself spending more time worrying than being thankful and feeling good – you really want to see this next movie interview with John Assaraf.

Our brain keeps us alive, triggers inspiration, and allows us to navigate our way through the world every single day. The thing is, there’s even more inner power hidden away that we probably haven’t accessed yet.

I love finding out more and latest about how matter in our universe works, and our mind’s connection with that.

When you get to the page, click the large blue button top-right on that site. There are 6 pre-made mind movies for you, as a free gift. They are different to last year’s movies, if you collected those during 2009. Their mind movie creation technology has also changed.

I’ll be back again soon, with the Joe Vitale interview. Enjoy!

Free Mind Mastery Video Series

If you’ve ever given up on visualization or have just not seen the precise results you were looking for, you need to watch this video…

Ryan managed to pin down who I call ‘the god of visualization’ – Mr Bob Proctor and find out his biggest success secrets and the key to where effective visualization begins.

Discover Bob Proctor’s answers here

I’m sure you know Bob from the movie The Secret but what he shares in this video interview is nothing short of inspirational amazingness!

He has such an incredible way of laying it all out, it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before… he gives a whole new perspective to the Law of Attraction.

Prepare to be blown away

So…if you’re someone who has ever…

…Tried visualization for a few days but hasn’t seen results so has given up

…Or think that to see results you have to spend a few hours a day focusing on what it is you want but hey- you’re busy and there’s not always enough time in the day to get to it

…Or have put together a vision board or a Mind Movie, look at it every day but it kind of feels like you’re wasting your time as you haven’t seen any real life results and the images on it still seem so far out of reach

Here’s my answer…

Take a look at what Bob has to say and get started doing exactly what he suggests. You’ll find that this just could be the missing piece of your manifesting puzzle.

Here’s one of my favorite quotes from this video…

“Even if you don’t believe in it – do it anyway. My attitude is: if your way isn’t working, try mine. I’m doing all right. I’m healthy, happy, and I’m wealthy. I earn more money in one hour than I used to in twenty years. So I must know something. And I know that this works.” -Bob Proctor

Learn how To Multiply Your Manifesting Power

The one thing I love most about this video is that everything Bob says makes complete and utter sense.

My Own 2 Lessons From Google’s 216-Page Social Media Manifesto

July 10th, 2010 Comments off

Love this line… “Social networking is a means to an end. You need to understand what the end is”, and that first image in Google’s Social Media Manifesto gave me a laugh!

You are living YOUR own life, not someone else’s. You call the shots and you get to choose who you allow into your inner circle.

When participating at social connection sites, the thing is to remember what you’re about and what you want for your own life. Set a few basic guidelines for yourself personally, before being dragged around by the distractions and myriad of conversations.

You are the person who has to decide. Whether you’ll do it or toss it aside; You are the person who makes up your mind. Whether you’ll lead or will linger behind. Whether you’ll try for the goal that’s afar. Or just be contented to stay where you are. -Edgar A. Guest

The Cartesian questions can come in handy when you feel a little spun out and overwhelmed. Ask them in the order presented. After responding to each one, ask a few times over, “…and what else?” What will happen if you do ‘X’? What wont happen if you do ‘X’? What will happen if you don’t do ‘X’? What wont happen if you don’t do ‘X’?

Social media makes your connections more visible and it allows many more people into your life than you may have imagined.

You might have noticed already that you tend to have your regular conversations with a small group of people, and you can probably only keep up with a maximum of around 150 of your “friends”. This is true in social media stream and in your “real” life.

Before you write and when you’re responding to messages, consider who is your audience. Remember that, you are putting your personal friendships out there into a public space.

When someone’s character seems impossible to fathom, observe his friends. -Japanese proverb

If you don’t want your news, photos, videos, relationships or personal notes to be published on the front page of a major newspaper, on everyone’s television screens, in a memo around workplaces or seen by your mum, then count to 10 and take a deep breath… Think, before you publish your status updates on Twitter or Facebook!

Remember James Allen and his famous line, “As a man thinketh, so is he” (from As A Man Thinketh So Is He). Be sure to get your ideas straight and be clear about your purpose for delivering any message into a large, public space.

Next Top Spiritual Author Congratulations!

July 7th, 2010 2 comments

Wow, what a ride! Since February 2010, I had been a participant in the Next Top Spiritual Author Contest. Thank you James Twyman, Robert Evans, and Randy Davilla.

Almost 3,000 authors started in this contest at the beginning of 2010, and for the following round there were 271 authors selected from those starters. That collection of 271 books and their authors were presented an opportunity to continue through into Round 3.

I was very lucky to have been one of 271 to go through to Round 2 with my book Time For My Life: 365 Stepping Stones.

Today I was on a conference call with the other Round 2 participants, to hear the announcement of the Round 3 winners and… even though I was NOT SELECTED to join those 25 authors who go through to Round 3 of the contest, I am extremely proud to have been among the top 10 percent of almost 3,000 authors who made it into Round 2.

I also had the pleasure of banding together with four wonderful authors and we supported each other through that second round.

Some of you might remember us from the web site that looked like this

The great news is, 2 of our band of 5 were selected to go through to Round 3 – Chris Cade and Scott Brandon Hoffman

CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!

I can’t begin to tell you how much fun it was to collaborate with Chris , Scott, Farhana Dhalla and Matthew Welsh

I also would like to give a few special mentions to a few amazing friends who were there every step of the way and who supported the journey in so many incredible ways.

HUGE HUGS AND KISSES ALL ROUND…

An extra and super special thank you from me, goes to Christopher Westra. Added appreciation from me extends also to, Angela Smith, Faye Rosie (also into Round 3), David Carpenter, Patricia Schiavone and Donna Reiss.

A special thank you also goes to all the people who left comments at my Next Top Spiritual Author voting page and to all my subscribers, readers and followers who voted for Time For My Life: 365 Stepping Stones.

You have already received several very special gifts from me, yet I still wanted to thank you again from the bottom of my heart. You are extremely special people, and I know who you are! Each of you are already on a very special email list of mine after you voted and collected your gifts.

Congratulations to EVERY author who had the courage to register in this incredible contest.

Let’s get right behind those 25 winners and any author who participated, to get that collection of amazing spiritual and self growth messages out to the rest of the world!

Time to party and dance everyone.

Turn up your sound really LOUD and let’s dance!

Come and celebrate with all the Round 3 authors at the Next Top Spiritual Author Contest… (just click the X in the grey square on the right hand side, to remove the YouTube advert)
