Wisdom On The Web
Some days feel heavier than others. You do your best to stay positive, yet life can throw curveballs, unexpected losses, relationship shifts, money worries or the quiet exhaustion that comes from holding it all together. That’s why I wanted to share something simple and powerful today, (ad) rise above life’s challenges with this audio. It’s a guided self-hypnosis track designed to help you reset, not by forcing positivity, however by naturally retuning your mind toward calm, strength and clarity. The “Rise Above” track blends guided hypnosis with sub-audible sound wave technology to gently shift you into a deeply relaxed, higher vibration state, where new, empowering thought patterns take root.
Life Power Tip
Install support structures. In training children for independence we might install various structures to assist e.g. steps to stand on for reaching the bathroom sink, a special mouth piece on mugs to learn drinking from cups, playing with an older child to model certain skills, name labels on clothing so items are returned. Similarly, when adults want to adopt new behaviors, we may need learning aids to assist us. Consider the possible ‘tools’ that you could put in place for yourself when you decide to adopt a new habit.
Action
Remember the enormous effect that your thoughts have on your well-being.
Challenge
Leave all places you visit, better than you found them.
Quote
One of the greatest surprises you will experience is when you discover that you can do what you were afraid you couldn’t do. Your obstacles will melt away, if instead of cowering before them, you make up your mind to walk boldly through them. -Max Steingart
Clearing
If you die, could your family find at their fingertips, all the paperwork?
Question
What could you do to remain in the present moment more often?
Affirmation
I choose to be harmonious.
Uplifting Extra
Historian Robert D. Richardson whose last biography chronicled the intellectual life of American transcendentalist Henry David Thoreau, now tells the remarkable story of one of America’s greatest thinkers, (ad) Ralph Waldo Emerson. How do Emerson’s ideas about freedom hold up in our age? Did this 19th century abolitionist and philosopher embrace the world around him or retreat into the world of ideas?

More inspired self improvement every day!
It’s difficult to be inspired if you’re stuck in a negative state. Inspiration is not just a flash of vision, it’s a motivation that births creativity.
People who get inspired are usually the ones more eager to jump into a project and stick with it. Inspired people have greater confidence not to doubt themselves.
Every day, seek out personal moments of clarity, increasing your awareness of new possibilities that surround you.

Any content published by me at Forward Steps is never “absolute truth”. I simply direct you to a variety of ideas that prickle your mind and introduce positive resources to better equip your life journey.
In the words of Oliver Wendell Holmes…
“One’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions”.
One favorite saying at my desk, is…
Whatever you focus on, WILL expand! Share on XThat’s one of many reasons that I love to share positive content. Forward Steps is for adding wings to our unique life journey!
Sometimes, you’ll find me recommending or presenting the same product(s) more than one time.
When repeating a training or using a tool that I’ve used or come across before, often I’ll “see” something brand new or have a fresh insight/perspective, that I might not have picked up on earlier. In that moment, perhaps I am finally “ready” to REALLY hear and receive its message or lesson.
It is not unlike seeing a movie for the second time and realizing that I’d not remembered seeing a particular scene, from the first viewing. As Nelson Mandela once said…
“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”
When you see something that has already been presented to you once before, then I invite you to revisit it anyhow.
Give up any judgement about whether it is “good” or “bad”. It JUST IS and you are alive, so you’re in luck. You get to choose, again!
I love these words from Gelett Burgess…
“If in the last few years you haven’t discarded a major opinion or acquired a new one, check your pulse. You may be dead.”
Tens of thousands of people, from many countries & backgrounds, receive Forward Steps emails. Everyone is at different stages of their life journey, everyone is looking for different things and experiencing different things.
Some of us learn best by hearing, others are more visual and yet others love to gather information by reading. This makes for a phenomenal challenge, in satisfying everybody’s individual needs and preferences. Even should we assume “that nothing is impossible” – this challenge gives an awfully good impression of “impossible”!
We are all different. Seldom one solution fits all. I provide a vast array of resources (hundreds, in fact) to cater for a multi-dimensional audience and I always recommend you remember this quote…
Absorb what is useful, discard what is not and add what is uniquely your own. -Bruce Lee Share on XIn Lak’ech Ala K’in,
