Wisdom On The Web

In our fast-paced world, stress and anxiety can sometimes feel like unwelcome companions, constantly reminding us of our worries and responsibilities. Have you ever found yourself overwhelmed by life’s demands, feeling stuck or disconnected from your own emotions? You’re not alone. When stress takes hold, it can lead us into a survival mode where we shut down or pull away from everything around us. But what if you could break free from that cycle? Imagine having the tools to help you step back into the present moment, regaining your inner peace and sense of control. I’m excited to share a powerful resource that can help you do just that, the (ad) 10-Step Somatic Healing Guide and Breathing Exercise. This free duo is designed to empower you to reclaim your calm and restore your balance, wherever you are.

Life Power Tip

Break destructive patterns of behavior. Before you can go to work on that, you need to identify the behaviours that you consider destructive to your intentions. To do that, you need to be willing to sit with yourself and be honest in listing these. Without judgement and opinion, be an observer and list them. It does not mean anything about going to work on them yet!

Action

Develop and follow healthy eating habits.

Challenge

Changing jobs? Contact a company directly and tell them that you are interested in working there.

Quote

Conditions are never just right. People who delay action until all factors are favorable do nothing. -William Feather

Clearing

Check the water levels in your car radiator and battery cells.

Question

Do you have access to your own happiness?

Affirmation

I choose spiritual harmony.

Uplifting Extra

Do you have unfinished conversations, half-done projects or postponed decisions quietly following you around? They whisper “I’ll get to that soon,” yet somehow soon never arrives. These loose ends don’t just clutter your diary, they drain your mind and scatter your energy. Each unresolved task creates subtle tension, shaping your mood and focus. Making peace with unfinished business isn’t about perfection. It’s about taking deliberate, practical steps that reclaim your energy and your focus. Some matters may never resolve the way you hope. Acceptance doesn’t mean giving up, it means responding intentionally to what you can influence.

More inspired self improvement every day!

It’s difficult to be inspired if you’re stuck in a negative state. Inspiration is not just a flash of vision, it’s a motivation that births creativity.

People who get inspired are usually the ones more eager to jump into a project and stick with it. Inspired people have greater confidence not to doubt themselves.

Every day, seek out personal moments of clarity, increasing your awareness of new possibilities that surround you. Free eBook Downloads Quote Images From Forward Steps

About Forward Steps Notes

These Notes are intended for leisured grazing to collect new thoughts, dreams, ideas, philosophies, possibilities, positives, creatives, tools, software, programs, life power tips and a lot more.

Any content published by me at Forward Steps is never “absolute truth”. I simply direct you to a variety of ideas that prickle your mind and introduce positive resources to better equip your life journey.

In the words of Oliver Wendell Holmes…

“One’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions”.

One favorite saying at my desk, is…

Whatever you focus on, WILL expand! Share on X

That’s one of many reasons that I love to share positive content. Forward Steps is for adding wings to our unique life journey!

Sometimes, you’ll find me recommending or presenting the same product(s) more than one time.

When repeating a training or using a tool that I’ve used or come across before, often I’ll “see” something brand new or have a fresh insight/perspective, that I might not have picked up on earlier. In that moment, perhaps I am finally “ready” to REALLY hear and receive its message or lesson.

It is not unlike seeing a movie for the second time and realizing that I’d not remembered seeing a particular scene, from the first viewing. As Nelson Mandela once said…

“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”

When you see something that has already been presented to you once before, then I invite you to revisit it anyhow.

Give up any judgement about whether it is “good” or “bad”. It JUST IS and you are alive, so you’re in luck. You get to choose, again!

I love these words from Gelett Burgess…

“If in the last few years you haven’t discarded a major opinion or acquired a new one, check your pulse. You may be dead.”

Tens of thousands of people, from many countries & backgrounds, receive Forward Steps emails. Everyone is at different stages of their life journey, everyone is looking for different things and experiencing different things.

Some of us learn best by hearing, others are more visual and yet others love to gather information by reading. This makes for a phenomenal challenge, in satisfying everybody’s individual needs and preferences. Even should we assume “that nothing is impossible” – this challenge gives an awfully good impression of “impossible”!

We are all different. Seldom one solution fits all. I provide a vast array of resources (hundreds, in fact) to cater for a multi-dimensional audience and I always recommend you remember this quote…

Absorb what is useful, discard what is not and add what is uniquely your own. -Bruce Lee Share on X
