Wisdom On The Web
Feeling burned out isn’t your fault. It has nothing to do with a person’s amount of work or their ability to handle stress. Rather, it’s often because of a toxic working environment and a culture that encourages us to stay silent for fear of being seen as unproductive or lazy. Yet, there is hope. Beat Burnout is a customized audio track that programs the mind for (ad) superior mental resilience and renewed happiness in just minutes a day. The subliminal audio technology infuses the subconscious mind with a new mindset and series of habits and this is the key to taking back control of your time and energy!
Life Power Tip
Break out of the mould. You and your life experiences are not set in stone. Look at your past and all the deviations along that journey. See what is yet possible. Some parts of your journey you orchestrated and at times, you allowed yourself to be directed by others. Can you learn from that past and use elements of your past to construct a future that is fully directed by you?
Action
Develop and nurture an optimistic mindset to have better things show up in your life.
Challenge
Check in and balance each of your goals with their cost, and evaluate.
Quote
No person ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and they’re not the same person. -Heraclitus
Clearing
Check your car’s air filter and clean it or get a new one.
Question
Do you have any MUST do’s hanging around? Lighten your load and attend to them!
Affirmation
I choose to feel peace wherever I am.
Uplifting Extra
Not enough time in the day? Not after reading this gem. How To Live On 24 Hours A Day was first published in 1910 and was a major bestseller, as part of a larger work entitled “How To Live”. Arnold Bennett has some great insights about using time wisely and puts forward proposals for getting more out of our time each day. It is an old book and some examples may not apply to you, its philosophy definitely applies to everyone in the present day.

More inspired self improvement every day!
It’s difficult to be inspired if you’re stuck in a negative state. Inspiration is not just a flash of vision, it’s a motivation that births creativity.
People who get inspired are usually the ones more eager to jump into a project and stick with it. Inspired people have greater confidence not to doubt themselves.
Every day, seek out personal moments of clarity, increasing your awareness of new possibilities that surround you.

Any content published by me at Forward Steps is never “absolute truth”. I simply direct you to a variety of ideas that prickle your mind and introduce positive resources to better equip your life journey.
In the words of Oliver Wendell Holmes…
“One’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions”.
One favorite saying at my desk, is…
Whatever you focus on, WILL expand! Share on XThat’s one of many reasons that I love to share positive content. Forward Steps is for adding wings to our unique life journey!
Sometimes, you’ll find me recommending or presenting the same product(s) more than one time.
When repeating a training or using a tool that I’ve used or come across before, often I’ll “see” something brand new or have a fresh insight/perspective, that I might not have picked up on earlier. In that moment, perhaps I am finally “ready” to REALLY hear and receive its message or lesson.
It is not unlike seeing a movie for the second time and realizing that I’d not remembered seeing a particular scene, from the first viewing. As Nelson Mandela once said…
“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”
When you see something that has already been presented to you once before, then I invite you to revisit it anyhow.
Give up any judgement about whether it is “good” or “bad”. It JUST IS and you are alive, so you’re in luck. You get to choose, again!
I love these words from Gelett Burgess…
“If in the last few years you haven’t discarded a major opinion or acquired a new one, check your pulse. You may be dead.”
Tens of thousands of people, from many countries & backgrounds, receive Forward Steps emails. Everyone is at different stages of their life journey, everyone is looking for different things and experiencing different things.
Some of us learn best by hearing, others are more visual and yet others love to gather information by reading. This makes for a phenomenal challenge, in satisfying everybody’s individual needs and preferences. Even should we assume “that nothing is impossible” – this challenge gives an awfully good impression of “impossible”!
We are all different. Seldom one solution fits all. I provide a vast array of resources (hundreds, in fact) to cater for a multi-dimensional audience and I always recommend you remember this quote…
Absorb what is useful, discard what is not and add what is uniquely your own. -Bruce Lee Share on XIn Lak’ech Ala K’in,
